The Cambodian national flag flies proudly at the National Football Centre

I spent a couple of hours with the Cambodian national football team at their training headquarters 17kms outside of Phnom Penh this morning and the whole squad of 22 players are training hard in preparation for their opening AFF Suzuki Cup championship match against Singapore in Jakarta, Indonesia this coming Friday. I'll post more about my visit later but for now, suffice to say the squad are in great spirits, the coach Prak Sovannara is proud of the work his players have put into their preparation for the most important tournament the Cambodian team have been involved in for many years, and everyone is determined to put up a good show on behalf of their nation.
