Feeling a whole lot better

I am back in the office today, with my repaired skin and everyone says I look healthy again. It's a little too early to celebrate as I'm still on medication but at least I can be seen in public again without small children running away shouting and screaming hysterically. And when I get around to shaving my face, I might just begin to look human again. The improvement in such a short space of time has been dramatic and if people didn't eat whilst reading this blog, I would post before and after photos, but I wouldn't do that to even my worst enemy as I did look pretty horrific at the end of last week. The skin man in Singapore deserves a lot of credit.

Glad to hear you're better, Andy! Your blog is fantastic and a daily reminder of why Cambodia is one of my favorite countries. I always look forward to finding new posts. Thanks again for taking the time to have lunch with David and I in PP back in February. Get well!

Thanks Thida.
I'm thinking of starting up his first official fan club based on his skin talents to help others identify the right man to go to :-)
I agree, go the Singapore skin man.

Dear Andy,
Your story says something about the quality of medical services in Cambodia. Should I think twice before travelling there, a long-cherished dream of mine? What about the surge of malaria the Western press has been noticing of lately???!!! Mostly alarmed, yours truly - Chrissie

Chrissie,
you must come, don't be put off by my ugly face. It was a skin problem that went bad. yes the medical services here leave a lot to be desired, but I just don't think they gave me hard enough drugs to kill the initial infection. as long as you have good medical cover, if you had a problem, you'd get the best attention in either Bangkok or Singapore, so don't be put off at all.
Live your long-cherished dream and come to Cambodia.
Andy
